NHS should have 'targets' to reduce staff obesity | News | Nursing Times
The cause of growing obesity is more than the food people buy and eat, its too easy to blame the food manufacturers and adverts. Many individuals comfort eat due to their ability to cope with stress and mental well being. The estimated 30% rise in prescription painkillers and c.32,000 painkiller addicts in Britain is another cog in the same wheel.Yes bad eating habits do tend to pass down generations, but we need a more holistic approach and the full picture of why people over eat.
